Rethinking Networks for Security
As the world gets to be more connected, social welfare increases. People access their bank accounts and tax returns from the distance. E-commerce is ever increasing, and with the wide spread use of high-speed mobile internet, new cultural and financial models thrive. At the same time, the interconnection and the interaction between the networks can support malice. This talk will discuss some of the pitfalls of overly connected and overly dependent on this connection world, as well as research directions to mitigate the risk.
